What's a Bug?

A bug is when the app doesn't work as intended. Examples:

App Crashes

The app closes unexpectedly during practice, a mock test, or elsewhere.

Incorrect Scoring

Your mock test or practice score doesn't match what you actually answered.

Login / 2FA Failures

OTP or authenticator codes are rejected even though they're correct.

Paper Upload / Extraction Errors

Your uploaded PDF fails to process, or questions are extracted incorrectly.

Display Issues

Text is cut off, images (question diagrams) don't load, or the layout looks broken.

Data Not Syncing

Progress made on one device doesn't appear on another.

How to Report a Bug Effectively

Step 1: Gather Information

Device Type: Android or iOS, and which model?
OS Version: What OS version?
App Version: What NEET PYQ version? (Settings → About)
When It Happens: Does it happen every time or randomly?

Step 2: Write Steps to Reproduce

This is the most important part. Tell us exactly how to recreate the bug.

Example:
1. Open NEET PYQ
2. Start a Mock Test for NEET 2023
3. Answer question 5 and mark it for review
4. Submit the test
5. Result shows question 5 as unanswered even though I answered it

Step 3: Add Screenshots

Take a screenshot of the bug if possible — especially for scoring or display issues.
