Wheel Traveler ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our NEET PYQ mobile application (Android and iOS) and web portal (the "Service").
Unlike a purely offline app, NEET PYQ is a cloud-connected service — your account, practice history, and uploaded content are stored on our servers so you can access them from any device you sign into. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
- Name, Email, Phone Number — required to create and secure your account
- Password — never stored in plain text; hashed before storage
- Two-Factor Authentication data — a TOTP secret (if you use an authenticator app) or phone number used for SMS OTP delivery
- Profile Photo — optional, only if you choose to upload one
2.2 Academic & Usage Data
- Practice & Mock Test History — questions attempted, answers, scores, timing
- Mistake Book & Bookmarks — questions you got wrong or saved for later
- Uploaded Papers — PDF question papers you upload under "My Papers," stored privately and associated with your account
- Study Planner data — your exam date and daily question targets, if you set them
2.3 Device & Login Information
- Login Audit Data — timestamp, IP address, login method, and success/failure status, kept for account security
- Device Type & App Version — for compatibility and troubleshooting
2.4 Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Razorpay, our third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details — see Section 9 for details.
2.5 Information We Do NOT Collect
- ✗Real-time location data
- ✗Contacts, call logs, or SMS content
- ✗Browsing history outside the app
- ✗Biometric identifiers
- ✗Social media account data
3. How We Use Your Information
3.1 Essential Functions
- ✓Authentication — verify your identity and secure your account with 2FA
- ✓Practice & Mock Tests — deliver questions, save your attempts, and compute scores
- ✓Adaptive Practice — compute your mastery score and recommend chapters
- ✓Paper Processing — extract questions from PDFs you upload
- ✓Subscription Management — track your trial/subscription status
3.2 AI-Assisted Processing
Question extraction from uploaded papers and AI-generated explanations use third-party AI providers (Anthropic and/or OpenAI). Only the academic content of the document (question text, options) is sent for processing — not your name, email, or account details.
3.3 What We Do NOT Do

- ✗We do NOT use your data for purposes unrelated to the Service
4. Data Security
4.1 Account Security
- Mandatory Two-Factor Authentication — every login requires a password plus a TOTP or SMS code
- Password Hashing — passwords are never stored in plain text
- JWT Session Tokens — short-lived access tokens (30 minutes) with automatic rotation on refresh
4.2 Transmission & Storage Security
- Encrypted in Transit — all traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS
- Private Uploads — your "My Papers" uploads are stored privately and are not accessible to other users
- Access Controls — a strict read-only "viewer" role exists for internal admin auditing and cannot modify or export student data
6. Data Retention
- Active Accounts — data is retained for as long as your account is active
- Account Deletion — you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support
- Login Audit Logs — retained for a limited period for security purposes

- ✓Access and review the personal data associated with your account
- ✓Correct inaccurate account information via your Profile settings
- ✓Request deletion of your account and data
- ✓Disable SMS OTP in favor of an authenticator app, or vice versa

8. Children's Privacy
NEET PYQ is intended for students preparing for a competitive medical entrance exam and is generally used by users aged 15 and above. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, please use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Payments & Subscriptions
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. Continued access to premium features requires a paid subscription, processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your full card or bank account details — Razorpay handles that in accordance with its own security standards and privacy policy. We retain only the subscription status and transaction reference needed to manage your account.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
